Player Fees for The Southside Swarm VBC are one of the BEST VALUES in the Kansas City Area for
an HOA competitive Volleyball Club. Compare fees AND WHAT'S INCLUDED before you decide.
The Swarm is recognized by the IRS as a Not-For-Profit Corporation. That means that all donations are tax-deductible. The Swarm
solicits both corporate and individual donations to offset player fees. The fees listed below are worst case and may actually be
reduced prior to tryouts as additional donations are received. Note: As a result of donations, the value each player receives is far
greater than the individual player fee listed below.
Player Fees for all teams include: Club T-Shirt, USAV Member Registration, Gym Rental, Equipment, Insurance,
Coaching Fees, Team/Player Picture Package and whistle/lanyard. Other items by-team are shown in the table
below:
The Swarm strives to avoid any hidden expenses. In addition to your player fees, you should
expect the following expenses for the 2010-11 club ball season - click here
In addition to the value above, The Swarm coaching staff is comprised of well qualified, experienced coaches who are focused on player development. Check out their individual Bios on the team pages below:

performance and endurance compared to other teams. This season SSA Training will be optional for most teams.
Note 4: The potential practice nights will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Teams will practice on either Monday/Thursday or
Tuesday/Sunday. The Swarm is attempting to eliminate Friday night practices.

Type 1 - Offer letter for a specific team. For example - if the offer is for the 15-1 Juniors, That player is guaranteed a position on the
15-1 Juniors team.
Type 2 - General offer letter. A general offer letter guarantees the player a position on a team within the age group specified on the
offer letter. It is not for a specific team. Player development over the next few weeks/months, open gyms, tryouts, and evaluations will
determine the specific team which that player will be assigned to. Note that all Swarm Black teams have some open positions where
type 1 offers have not been made.
For the 2010-11 club season, the Swarm intends to aggressively fill our teams while working within the rules of
HOA. Players that were members of the Swarm for the 2009-10 season may receive an Offer Letter for the 2010-11 season. Offer
Letters will be sent out over a several week period as coaches are hired and team strategies are developed. If a player does not receive
an offer letter, it is not an indication that The Swarm will not invite the player back for tryouts or consideration at a later date.
Club Offer Letters - The Swarm issues two types of offer letters:
Please contact The Swarm with questions or for clarifications. The team building process is dynamic and changes
